In particular, the Committee shall adjust the bill on supplements to clause 40 of the Law of Ukraine "On Physical Culture and Sports" (re insurance of competitors) (Reg. No. 5137) to the second reading. The bill determines that life and health insurance of competitors during sports competitions is provided by organizers or sportsmen apart from highly qualified sportsmen who are subject to insurance according to the law at the expense of state budget.
According to one of the provisions of the bill, sportsmen who have no life and health insurance are excluded from competitions. In case of admission, the organizers will bare responsibility according to the legislation. The results of sportsmen whose life and health were not insured will not be taken into account
The Government shall set the order of insuring life and health of the competitors for the period of competition.
The bill on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine (re children's staying in public catering and entertainment establishments at night) (Reg.No.8750) is also planned to be adjusted to the second reading. The bill prohibits children under 16 to stay in public catering and entertainment establishments unaccompanied by parents or other legal representatives. Under the bill, owners of these establishments are obliged to take measures to prevent unaccompanied children under 16 from staying in such establishments from 22 p.m. to 6 a.m.
It is suggested to enable the owners of public catering and entertainment establishments to demand from visitors of such establishments documents evidencing their age.
Under the bill, the lawbreakers are subject to administrative penalty for breaking the said restrictions.
